Moving Forward

Today we received word that we are officially out of IBESR, which is the most lengthy part of the whole adoption process.  Fortunately for us, our adoption was started before the new adoption laws took effect over the summer so that we don't have to spend two weeks in Haiti with Petouchca before we can bring her home.  Right now it looks like we should be able to bring her home before the end of summer.  It would be nice to have her here earlier so she can adjust to living here before school starts next fall.
