Saturday...
We allowed the kids to experience their first "Haitian shower" (without the running water) last night. It worked pretty well. It is amazing that after 4 days without a shower in this heat and dust - we really weren't as smelly as I thought we would be! LOL!
The kids, Petoucheka too, Dennis and I joined Eveline and watched a little of the TV clips from downtown PAP where they had a parade and did the stations of the cross for Good Friday. It was interesting to watch and even showed many Haitian Boy Scouts. Cool....
We skipped out of the rest of the TV clip and skyped with Dennis' parents. I think they were happy to see Petoucheka and all of us. Petoucheka got to see their two dogs and two cats. Her eyes got really big when she saw Smokey - a BIG long hair kitty!
We are all up and dressed and heading out for another fun filled and exciting day!
I will update the kids "mug shots" later and post for our day as well!
